SPOTLIGHT:

VICKI JANSMA:  Newly appointed interior designer brings her aesthetic eye to Gardenology

BELIEFS:  Any room can be transformed into something amazing, even if you take the “less is more’ approach...but not when shoes are involved

INSPIRATION:  Fashion, textiles, mom, dad and city planners.  I’m mesmerized by how a town can unfold into a city and look beautiful

FAVORITE STYLE:  Eclectic, cozy, European...edging towards modern

FAVORTIE ARITST:  Johnny Cash.  I believe everyone should be able to belt out one of his songs at the drop of hat…oh and a real artist...Andy Warhol, anyone who can make a tomato soup can look chic, I’m all about

FAVORITE CHEF:  C. Barclay Dodge and JR Simplot, he invented my most favorite food, the frozen French fry (and also a fellow Iowan)

BACKGROUND:  Designing from Aspen to Anguilla, and most recently Southern California

FAVORITE DESTINATION:  Okoboji, Iowa…if you haven’t been, it’s a must do on the 4th of July
